Nice board with lots of small continents to give everyone a place to start. The one-way borders with modifiers seem unnecessary. Also fortify to any connected seems out of place.

I do like the game play on this board, but the circles denoting who owns a country are too small and are a pain to read.

Good basic board. Small number of territories and elimination bonus makes for quick games. The two-state continents in the middle of the board work well.

Great board with two different phases to the game - first taking over the islands then inter-island battles. Each island has it's quirks in territory placement. Having card capture turned off drives me nuts, but the elimination bonus makes up for it, but then not being able to use the bonus armies until your next turn is annoying, but then its a fun surprise when your turn comes around again.
